Hire Ground first established itself as an event management company for the information technology sector. Our company ran several annual career fairs as part of its event management portfolio. In managing these career fairs, it became evident that there existed a high need for software tools to manage the intake of resumes. Our company started development of the online tools to offer resume-intake software and job board applications in 1999. Each industry is represented separately and has a sophisticated skill matrix used by employers and job seekers to highlight skills and experience for a job posting or a targeted resume service. The first versions of our Corporate Solutions Applicant Tracking System and electronic Job Board were completed in 2001.

The company vision is to design software tools to help fill Human Resources needs through innovative and flexible technology solutions. Our company is constantly adding new tools, or enhancing previous function on our software offerings based on client input or new requirements.

The company mission statement states "To offer our clients innovative, flexible, customer serviced focused HR software that will lead their hiring and retention to a Hire Ground".

Hire Ground is the winner of the CATA Information Technology Strategic HR Leadership Award - 2007. Our company works closely with CTI, CCAT, HRAC and HRIA to maintain industry standards and best of breed approaches to our software design and use.
