HireGround first established itself as an event management company for the information technology sector in 1997. We ran several annual career fairs as part of our event management portfolio – in managing these career fairs, it became evident that there existed a high need for software tools to manage the intake of résumés. Our company started development of the online tools to offer résumé-intake software and job board applications in 1999. Each industry is represented separately and has a sophisticated skill matrix used by employers and job seekers to highlight skills and experience for a job posting or a targeted résumé service. The first versions of our Corporate Solutions Applicant Tracking System and electronic Job Board were completed in 2001.

Our vision is to design software tools to help fill Human Resources needs through innovative and flexible technology solutions. HireGround is constantly adding new tools and enhancing previous function on our software offerings based on client input or new requirements.

HireGround is the winner of the CATA Information Technology Strategic HR Leadership Award. We work closely with CTI, CCAT, HRAC, and HRIA to maintain industry standards and best of breed approaches to our software design and use.
