When a new hire starts a job at your company, making sure they are ready to go is important: time spent setting up equipment, e-mail accounts, and security passes (among many other things) should be done before a new hire starts on the job. To ensure their success, the new hire needs the necessary resources and training to be productive. Onboarding is the process of giving a recent hire all the resources they need to be productive as soon as possible.
When bringing a new hire onboard to your company, you want them to address their job responsibilities right away. HireGround's Onboarding Management module informs specific departments of a new hire's start date and sends a request for the resources and training that they need.
Example: A new engineer starts on Monday and needs to have a computer with special software, a desk, a phone, e-mail and network passwords, a security badge, training, and a parking pass. Through the HireGround Onboarding module, an e-mail can be sent to each department informing them of who the new hire is, along with what their specific needs are. This can ensure that all new hires begin producing right away and that they are not waiting for resources from any one department.
Onboarding Management automates processes with e-mails to departments (IT, Security, Operations) and tracks resources for new hires. All processes, along with forms and communication, can be customizable for different departments with the ability to track confirmations.
Along with the Onboarding Management module, we provide add-ons to Corporate Solutions to help you cross-post your job positions to your careers page and multiple job boards; manage your vendors, recruiters, and recruiting firms; create timely requisitions and reports; and convert all forms of résumés (faxed, e-mailed, printed...) into digital versions for your dataset. All these add-ons are additional modules that can be incorporated into Corporate Solutions, our applicant tracking software.
