Information Collection and Use
Cookies
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's computer
tied to information about the user. Usage of a cookie
is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information
while on our site. We use both session ID cookies and
persistent cookies.
For the session ID cookie, once users close the browser,
the cookie simply terminates. A persistent cookie is
a small text file stored on the user's hard drive for
an extended period of time. Persistent cookies can be
removed by following Internet browser help file directions.
By setting a cookie on our site, users do not have
to log in more than once, thereby saving time while
on our site. If users reject the cookie, they may still
use our site. The only drawback to this is that the
user will be limited in some areas of our site. For
example, the user will not be able to participate in
any of our sweepstakes, contests or monthly drawings

interests of our users in order to enhance the experience

is used to serve ads to users on this site.
Log Files
Like most standard Web site servers, we use log files.
This includes Internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser
type, Internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit
pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of
clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track
user's movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic
information for aggregate use. IP addresses are tied
to personally identifiable information to enable our
Web-based service. We also use a tracking utility called
AWStats that uses log files to analyze user movement.
Communications from the Site
Newsletter
If a user wishes to subscribe to our newsletter, we
ask for contact information such as name and email address.
Out of respect for a user's privacy, we provide a way

Service Announcements
On rare occasions it is necessary to send out a service

temporarily suspended for maintenance we might send

Surveys & Contests
Periodically users receive requests for information

or contests is completely voluntary. The user can choose

(such as zip code).

Security
This Web site takes every precaution to protect our

Our employees must use password-protected screen-savers
when they leave their desk. When they return, they must

as any time new policies are added, our employees are

on privacy, and what they can do to ensure our users'

Supplementation of Information
In order for this Web site to properly fulfill its
obligation to users it is necessary for us to supplement
the information received with information from 3rd party

Credit Check
For example, to determine if users qualify for one
of the sites' credit cards, the user's name and social
security number is used to request a credit report.
Once we determine a user's credit-worthiness, this document
is destroyed.
Purchasing History
In order for this Web site to enhance its ability to
tailor the site to a user's preference, we combine information
about the purchasing habits of users with similar information
from our partners, to create a personalized user profile.
Enhancement of Marketing Profile
Purchase of third party marketing data added to our
existing user database gives information to better target
advertising and provide pertinent offers our users would
be interested in. This information is used to enhance
or overlay the 'profile' of individual users. This aggregate
marketing data is therefore tied to the users' personal
identifiable information.
Correcting/Updating/Deleting/Deactivating Personal
Information
If a user's personal identifiable information changes

or if a user no longer desires our service, there is
a provision to correct, update or delete/deactivate

be posted on the Web Site's homepage, and other locations
deemed appropriate such that users are aware of how

used in a manner different from that stated at the time
of collection we will notify users via email. Users
